Thanksgiving, Christmas tree

This year we drove to St. Louis to see Greg's family for Thanksgiving. Apparently we weren't very entertaining on the way down there.

While Adrianna napped, the rest of us ate a delicious dinner that Greg's aunt & uncle prepared.  Brock did really well and ate most of his turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans & cranberry sauce.  This was the first time that he has eaten a big family meal and actually ate what everybody else was eating.  Our baby boy is getting bigger every single day.
After we left St. Louis, we dropped the kids off at my parent's house so that we could go shopping on Black Friday and not have to wake the kids up super early.  After we were finished shopping, we decided that we needed to set up our Christmas tree.  It's hard to tell in the picture, but Brock has on a t-shirt, black socks & blue underwear.  He is going to make an AWESOME bachelor :)

Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!  It's a little, um, let's call it skinny.  But the huge full tree that we had doesn't fit in our tiny living room so this one will do for now.

Oh yes, I forgot.  Little Miss Queen Bee was in charge of supervising the set-up and decorating.  She's so good at her job :)

Brock got to hang up his Handy Manny ornaments that he got last year.  It was so sweet watching him open the packages and choose which branch to hang them on.  Now if we could just get him to leave them alone.  He already broke the tool box & Greg had to superglue it back together.  But all things considered, he is doing incredibly well with the tree, ornaments & presents.

Well of course, she should be the supervisor, we are put on this earth to attend to her every demand (much like her mother!). Really, who could resist doing what she wants with that beautiful smile and those eyes when she looks at you!
At least Brock had clothes on, better that we do sometimes when he is here.
