So I found a website that asks you a bunch of ridiculous questions about the last animal you saw, do you prefer the scent of lavender to pine, etc. and then it "predicts" your labor. Keep in mind this is done online by Madame Zaritska. Kind of like Miss Cleo. Remember her? Oh, that's right--she went to jail for fraud. (Just as a key in case you didn't figure it out; the pink text is her prediction, the black text is my sarcastic counter-point. But you're a smart cookie and I'm sure you figured that out!) Here is what mine says :
The day you deliver, outside will be hot. (Hot. Lady puh-lease. It will be at the end of July. In Missouri. Hot doesn't begin to describe it. That one was a gimme.) Your baby will arrive in the early afternoon. After a labor lasting approximately 25 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. (25 hours. Hmmm . . . as long as I have an epidural, I don't care if it takes 25 days. Okay, maybe I do.) Your baby will weigh about 5 pounds, 7 ounces, and will be 17-1/2 inches long. (If this kid only weighs 5lbs, 7oz he/she better come out in the next couple of months. Keep in mind my first child was 7 lbs and he was 2.5 weeks early.) This child will have light gray eyes and some blonde hair. (Light gray eyes? Lucy . . . you got some splanin' to do. Greg has green eyes and I have blue/green eyes. The blonde hair I believe given our first born.)
At least Madame Zaritska is good for a laugh and we will see how many things actually come true! As long as the 25 hour labor thing is wrong, I will take everything else!

Ok, well some of them might be close. I have been studying recessive genes in biology and she might have gray eyes, how cool would that be!!
Twenty five hours!!! Well wouldn't that be sweet retribution for me but I don't know if the grandparents can survive that long!
Of course it will be hot. Any time after June 14th is hot.
Hope he/she weighs more than that. I am thinking somewhere around 7.5 lbs.
It was funny to read, thanks for the laugh.

Ok, Tara, I personally think Madame Zaritska is a bit of a flake. 25 hour labor???? Sounds like she must have issues with her mother. LOL. How long was labor with Brock? Do you labor like your mom and Marlene or are you more efficient like me? LOL. Yeah, they'll get me for that one. And I don't hardly think you're gonna get off with a little bitty baby like 5'7oz or 17 1/2 inches! Those sound a bit premature to me. As far as the grey eyes, he/she could inherit them from Grandpa Moore. He has those steel blue eyes. I won't make any predictions about the baby, but I pray you have a safe delivery and enjoy every moment with the kiddos. They do grow fast and change so much. And I happen to know an aunt who will be more than happy to do some babysitting for you.
More efficient my foot, I just had two stubborn children much like their father!!!
And step back in the line for babysitting!! Oh well, I do get to watch Brock more than you so I guess you can watch them once in a while. Have the cell phone ready to entertain Brock.
