Your fetus has become amazingly mobile (at least compared to you), passing the hours yawning, hiccuping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking and swallowing. And, baby's finally big enough that you'll be able to feel those movements soon. This week the baby is the size of a sweet potato. Which is kind of ironic because I am allergic to sweet potatoes and Greg hates them, but we both sure do love this little baby! Brock loves the baby too because he kissed my belly about 10 times last night! So sweet! Now I just have to get him to hold still to get a picture of it to post!

How far along? 18 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: up 1 pound from pre-pregnancy
Total weight gain/loss: up 1 pound from pre-pregnancy
Maternity clothes? Still yes.
Stretch marks? So far, just leftovers from Brock.
Sleep: Not so great this week because I was back to work after vacation and my body (and the baby) did not like sleeping during the day again.

Best moment this week: Greg felt the baby move on Thursday!
Movement: Starting to feel tiny kicks. Especially when Greg talks to him/her.
Food cravings: Nothing this week.
Gender: Team green.
Labor Signs: Nope--but I had a little scare on Wednesday night/Thursday morning when I felt the slightest little pinching low in my uterus when I was at work and had a very stressful patient. Luckily everything was fine.
Belly Button in or out? Still in & will probably stay that way.
What I miss: Florida.
What I am looking forward to: Having Brock feel the baby kick & seeing his reaction.
Weekly Wisdom: Don't wish your children's lives away because before you know it they will be having children of their own.
Milestones: The baby kicked Daddy!

So cute. Tell Greg to remember how much Brock kicked him before he was born. How come no posts about Brock sleeping in his big boy bed?? Can't find anyone to take the picture for you? I saw you took it in the mirror. Thanks for the yogurt today (even though it was old tasting), next time we need to head to ColdStone!
Isn't it hard to see them growing up? Even the little steps. I love the puppy he sleeps with and the fact that Superman replaces him in bed.
You look great, Tara. I'm missing Florida too. Doesn't it seem like forever ago??
