Adrianna's 1st doctor appointment & 1 Week post-partum

This is my 4-day post-partum belly shot. I probably won't do these every week, but it's kind of an interesting comparison shot to the one we took just before I was induced!

How far along? 1 week post-partum
Total weight gain/loss: + 10lbs from pre-pregnancy. Or, -15lbs from the peak of my pregnancy!
Maternity clothes? Yes but I'm going to go through my pre-pregnancy clothes this week to see if I can fit into any of them yet.
Stretch marks? Oh hell. I'm deleting this one now.
Sleep: Bwahahahahahaha ::Deep breath:: Hahahahahahahaha. If I get 2 hours at a time, I consider myself lucky.
Best moment this week: Having our sweet baby girl! Oh yeah, and having her finally poop on her own (we were having some trouble in this department)
Worst moment this week: Being in labor & having my nurse tell me that my epidural wasn't connected.
Movement: Now I know why my body ached so badly during pregnancy! This little lady is constantly on the go. Just like her big brother!
Food cravings: No cravings but now that I can eat, I'm definitely enjoying food more!
What I miss: Sleeping through the night.
What I am looking forward to: Selling the house. Loosing the last of my baby weight.
Milestones: Making it to 1 week post-partum and still having a husband that is alive! Also, I'm down 15 lbs from the peak of my pregnancy weight. Successfully breastfeeding. Brock surviving operation: Bring baby home from the hospital. All in all, it has been a good week in the Stemme household!

Adrianna's first visit to the pediatrician went really well. We went on Monday (sorry for the tardiness in my posting) for a weight/color check. At birth, Adrianna weighed 7lbs, 3 oz. At discharge from the hospital, she weighed 7lbs, 0oz. At 4 days in the doctor's office, she weighed 7lbs, 2oz! Holy moly! This little lady can eat! We also brought up the fact that she hadn't pooped since Saturday morning at 4am & she had been EXTREMELY fussy the night before because of gas. The doctor did a manual exam (just like it sounds) and she actually pooped! However, he told us that if she continued to not poop, we could give her a piece of a suppository and see if that did anything. That evening I decided to go ahead and give her one and she pooped right away. I ended up giving her another one in the middle of the night because she was getting very uncomfortable again and she had another poop. When the pediatrician's office called on Tuesday morning to check on her, I told them about our night and he wanted us to try to not give her any more suppositories for a while. Well, I ended up giving her another one Tuesday evening because her tummy was really hurting. Again, she pooped right away. Since then, I am happy to report that she has pooped multiple times! I am going to keep the suppositories handy but try to not use them unless she gets really uncomfortable again. Also at the doctor they didn't draw any blood because she isn't jaundiced at all! Otherwise, we are scheduled to go back to the pediatrician's office when she is 2 weeks old and I will have more stats then.
