I cannot believe that our sweet baby girl is already 2 months old! I take the kids to the doctor next week (Oct. 1st) for Brock's 2 year check up and for Adrianna's 2 month check up so I will have her height, weight, etc. then. But as far as developmental milestones, she is definitely able to focus on things much better than even a month ago. She is becoming such a smiley little girl; especially when Brock is in her line of sight. It is seriously the sweetest thing ever! When she is crying he will come over to her and pat her head and say, "S'okay Sissy" and I swear, she stops crying and smiles at him. Which makes him so proud that he has to keep doing it until somebody makes him stop. Adrianna doesn't mind tummy time as much as some babies of my mom friends but she doesn't really love it either. Of course, when she is on her stomach she can't see as much and she is one nosy little thing! I promise that I will post pictures soon but things have been crazy with me starting back to work last week and Greg is in Kansas City again so when I'm not working I've been either picking up or dropping the kids off. So, I will get some pictures up of these sweet kids very soon. Just as soon as I get 0.5 seconds to take and post them.
P.S. I almost forgot this, which shows how busy we have been! This weekend we were all in the living room; Brock was running around like a madman, Greg was watching TV and I was holding Adrianna and trying to get her to say "mama". Then Greg pipes up and says, "Say dada. Can you say dada?" I swear she looks right at me, smiles, and says, "dada". I though Greg was going to crap his pants because he was so damn excited! He started yelling, "You heard it! She said dada! She said dada first!" Okay so I realize that my children are brilliant but I was seriously doubting what I had just heard. Then today Adrianna was at Grandma Doris' house and when I was picking her up, she said to me, "I swear Adrianna said 'dada' today." My jaw dropped. I birth miracle babies. Just don't tell Greg that I admitted that Adrianna said dada before mama.
