For those of you that are following this in hopes of baby updates, sorry. No news today other than I am bloated so I am "showing" and can no longer fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes. Which means that Thursday, I had to buy maternity jeans already. Why, you ask? Well, with Brock I didn't need bigger pants until it wasn't pant season anymore and I could get away with capris or shorts :( Oh well, this time I will have comments like, "Are you sure there aren't twins in there?" and the like. I believe this is called karma. Luckily, I haven't gained any weight (yet; we still have Christmas to make it through).
Today at home we got a few things accomplished. I made a double batch of oatmeal-butterscotch cookies which Greg and Brock enjoyed immensely. I also did 3 loads of laundry and two loads of dishes (baking cookies is messy). Also, Brock and I watched Greg play PlayStation. Brock tried to open Christmas gifts, took a nap, and succeeded in opening a Christmas gift. Thankfully it was his, so we did not re-wrap it. He was more interested in the paper.
Right now I am at work watching my patient sleep and I am seriously thinking about sneaking an empty mattress into his room and taking a little nap myself. Unfortunately, I don't think I would be able to sneak very well while lugging a huge mattress behind me. Oh well, I will continue to blog until I run out of things to say or I fall asleep.
