Even though I won't technically be 10 weeks preggo until tomorrow, I am motivated to blog now and Brock is already down for the count, so here goes. The baby is now the size of a prune. Bones & cartilage are now starting to form, vital organs are beginning to function, and arm joints are now working! Ahh . . . so sweet; although I really feel like there is a better food comparison than a prune & the picture that I found makes the prune look like Skeletor from He-man! Also, I am living in either maternity jeans, sweatpants, or scrubs because my pre-pregnancy pants no longer fit. Wow--this could be a long 30 weeks. Otherwise, things are good with bambino and I don't go back to the doctor until January 15.

Now, on to Christmas. We celebrated with my parents on Christmas Eve morning and Brock worked up quite a sweat opening EVERYBODY'S gifts. Notice how he has no clothes on.

On Christmas morning, we went to Greg's mom and dad's house and Granny Pat had a wonderful tunnel set up for Brock to crawl through to get to the tree. The only trouble was, the tunnel took up the entire living room and it had to be moved to the basement. But, Papa Dave and Brock still had a pretty amazing time chasing each other through it!

Then when it was time for gifts, Dave dressed up as Santa and Brock was really excited to see him until he had to sit on his lap. That was not so much fun. For Brock or for Santa.

Isn't he the most beautiful boy, Brock (sorry Greg and Dave). We had so much fun letting him unwrap all of our presents.
Love,
Mom and Daddy
I think Santa needs more cookies. He looks a little thin. :)
I agree with both of these comments! Brock is the most beautiful boy (unless this bun in the oven is a boy then it is a tie for 1st) and Santa does need more cookies!
