How far along? 30 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: + 12lbs from pre-pregnancy
Maternity clothes? Yes
Stretch marks? Yes
Sleep: I can't get enough. I swear, I could take a 3-hour nap everyday and it wouldn't be enough

Best moment this week: Finding out that a friend of a friend that has struggled with infertility for a really long time is almost 12 weeks pregnant with TWINS!!! And we got the house listed; but no offers yet :(
Worst moment this week: Nothing to serious to complain about. Just the usual heartburn and sciatic nerve pain.
Movement: Lots & apparently she doesn't like the heart monitor being pushed against her by the doctor!
Food cravings: No cravings this week but I did have a delicious danish
Gender: Still a girl as far as we know
Labor Signs: Just lots of Braxton Hicks contractions when I'm super busy at work.
Belly Button in or out? Still in but getting more shallow
What I miss: My husband being able to be around for all the fun stuff.

What I am looking forward to: Getting an offer on the house. Hopefully before Baby G is born.
Weekly Wisdom: There are times when parenthood seems like nothing more than feeding the hand that bites you.
Milestones: Hitting 30 weeks! Wow--I can't believe that we have 10ish (or less!) weeks to go until this little girl is here in our arms!

Technical baby news: Baby’s energy is surging, thanks to the formation of white fat deposits beneath the skin. (Have those kicks and jabs to the ribs tipped you off yet?) Baby is also settling into sleep and waking cycles, though -- as you’ve also probably noticed -- they don’t necessarily coincide with your own. Also this month, all five senses are finally functional, and the brain and nervous system are going through major developments.15.2-16.7 inches, 2.5-3.8 lbs. The website that I use says Baby G is a squash this month, but I'm pretty sure that this is a pumpkin!

*Friday night we had Matt, Rachel, Evan & Owen Bruns over to our house for a BBQ. It was really good to see them, but Owen wasn't feeling good so he was a little crabby. But we got to eat some delicious steaks that Greg cooked up and had some great conversation!
*Saturday we got the house tidied up and Greg installed a new cabinet where the gaping hole by the dishwasher was. We also went to Steve Cravens' graduation party where Brock charmed all the ladies and even met two little girls that he chased around for an hour. Then we came home and Brock was exhausted from the women and Greg made plans to go to Arkansas this winter to go wild boar hunting with a friend of his that lives down there. He asked if I wanted him to take Brock. It will be a 3-4 day trip. I think I'll keep my small child away from wild animals a little longer, thank you very much! Maybe when Brock is 10, I will let him go on an overnight, out of town hunting trip. Even if it is with his Dad! It makes me nervous enough to think of Greg out there chasing wild boars through the woods.

Glad you had a good weekend, you should be resting more! Baby girl needs you to get your rest so she can grow!
Speaking of twins in your blog, Shawna said the hospital is full of twins and triplets. Man am I glad I never got to experience that pleasure!
Love,
Nana and Papa
