I know this doesn't look like much but it is an enclosure that Greg built around the air vent for the heating and air conditioning unit. Behind it is the giant silver air duct.
When Greg put up our beautiful slate backsplash in the kitchen, he didn't "have time" to put the socket and switch covers back on. Several months later . . .
We took down the wallpaper border in Brock's room, repainted the walls and his name letters and we hung a cute coat rack. We also put in an extra shelf and rod in his closet.
Greg is less than thrilled that I took a picture of him packing away our china. But it was the first "official" box that was packed up--of course I had to document that!
Baby G's room is officially finished! Everything is painted and Greg built a bookshelf in the window (since it looks out over the garage). He was going to put the princess castle on the top but since we are trying to sell the house, we thought it would be best to do that in the new house.
The garage is actually (somewhat) cleaned out! You can almost park a car in there now!
New exterior lights:
The inside of the front door with it's fresh paint job:
There were so many other things that we did but really, unless you have the before & after shots you wouldn't appreciate it. Little things like new trim and new doorknobs do little to dazzle unless you can truly appreciate how hideous it looked before! The house looks fantastic! Great job!
Thanks! It was mostly Greg, but I'll take some of the credit!
The house looks GREAT! I love what you guys have done!
Well I posted the other night and I don't know what happened!! It makes me sad to see this post but Oak Grove is not that far away, but I am your mother and I hated it when you moved to Columbia. I know you all will be much happier and we are just a phone call away. Now I am really going to have to work on finishing up that degree so I can work from wherever I am!!
Greg is very talented and the house looks so different from when you all bought it. I wish we would have taken pictures when he painted the exterior brown, or a picture of your face when you saw it!!
Love,
Nana and Papa
